Founder

Open Frame LLC

Open Frame is a software design, development, and consulting company. We make NitroPCR, a mobile application and system that enables Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to manage their patient care reports (PCRs) on mobile devices. I founded the company and designed, developed, and maintained all of the software related to the project. The application is a native Android application, and the platform is a MEAN stack running on Google Compute Engine. NitroPCR won the Alabama Launchpad startup competition as the best startup in Alabama, with a $75,000 prize.

Open Frame also also provides cloud based mobile software development services to several vertical markets including healthcare, education, and consumer. Other notable projects include:

  • An application for the Mitchell Cancer Institute that allows physicians and patients to find clinical trials as well as physician research and referrals.
  • Grabit Delivery, a Baton Rouge, LA based startup that provides delivery services in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Huntsville, and Auburn AL. We designed a Google Firebase based architecture with an Ionic Framework mobile app for clients and drivers, leading to a very successful launch and rapid growth. I provided architecture design, app design and development, wrote ETL scripts to import data from a variety of retail inventory databases into Firebase, designed and built elastic index schemas and search queries, and built a set of analytics dashboards using Google Data Studio and Google Big Query.
